QPR were dumped out of the Carabao Cup after goals from John Marquis and Marcus Harness gave League One Portsmouth a 2-0 victory at The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
The Hoops had most of the possession and created a number of chances but were punished by Marquis’ 77th-minute penalty after the Pompey forward was brought down by Toni Leistner.
And worse was to follow for the hosts when Ross McCrorie sprinted past Leistner and laid the ball across to Harness to wrap-up the win four minutes later.
In last night’s action, League One side Oxford United beat Millwall with a 4-2 penalty victory after staging a remarkable late fightback.
Icelandic international Jon Dadi Bodvarsson had struck either side of half-time to put the Lions seemingly in charge.

But Mark Sykes’ 87th minute strike and a James Henry penalty levelled to send the second-round match to a shoot-out.
And Oxford eventually triumphed with four successful penalties, while Millwall missed one and had one smartly saved by Simon Eastwood.
Meanwhile, Michael Obafemi’s 57th header saw Southampton to a 1-0 win at Fulham while West Ham United overcame Newport County 2-0 at Rodney Parade with goals in either half from Jack Wilshere and Pablo Fornals.
And finally, Colchester United beat Crystal Palace 5-4 on penalties after a goalless draw at Selhurst Park; Noah Chilvers scoring the decisive kick as the League Two side scored all five from the spot.
