Leyton Orient made it back-to-back wins with an emphatic 3-0 triumph at Harrogate Town to almost end any League Two relegation fears.
The O’s had the best of the opening exchanges with Theo Archibald rattling the bar before eventually taking the lead in the 51st minute through Aaron Drinan.
Drinan then grabbed his second six minutes later with a deflected eight-yard effort after Omar Beckles had headed on Shadrach Ogie’s long throw from the left.
At the other end, Jack Diamond struck the outside of Lawrence Vigouroux’s near post – but the outcome was put beyond doubt following shoddy defending by Harrogate.
McArdle twice gave the ball away just outside his own penalty area, leaving Ruel Sotiriou to beat Harrogate keeper Mark Oxley and wrap up the win on 73 minutes.
Simon Power hit the crossbar for the hosts late on while Harry Smith also struck a post for the O’s in stoppage time.
