EFL London Clubs Match Report Round-Up: 25.01.22

QPR missed the chance to move up to third in the Championship after they were held to a goalless draw at home by Swansea City.

Scotland forward Lyndon Dykes sent a good chance straight at the goalkeeper during the second-half, before Swansea substitute Michael Obafemi had a goal disallowed for offside.

Swans midfielder Flynn Downes was sent-off in stoppage time for a second caution, with the result leaving QPR a point behind Bournemouth.

In League One, AFC Wimbledon are now seven games with a win after losing 2-0 to Ipswich Town at Plough Lane.

Two second-half strikes from Wes Burns did the damage as the Dons remain perilously close to the bottom four – just a point ahead of Morecambe.

And in League Two, Leyton Orient fell further behind the promotion pack with a late defeat at home to Newport County.

Defender Cameron Norman volleyed in from a corner with just five minutes left to seal the win in an otherwise turgid affair.
