QPR earned a hard-earned point to remain in the Play-Off places with a 1-1 draw with Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Chris Willock fired the Hoops into a welcome 26th-minute lead against the run of play with his third league goal of the season.
But striker Gary Madine levelled from the penalty spot nine minutes after the break after QPR goalkeeper Seny Dieng had fouled Jordan Gabriel in the penalty box.
And it could have so easily been a victory for the Blackpool who had a Madine goal ruled out for offside early in an absorbing contest.
In the day’s other games, second-placed Fulham made it six wins on the bounce thanks to Aleksandr Mitrovic’s 20th goal of the season as they beat Peterborough United 1-0.
The Cottagers, with the best attacking record in the league, had to wait until the 74th minute to break the deadlock when Neeskens Kebano picked out the head of Mitrovic who nodded home to break Posh’s resistance.
Meanwhile, Millwall were held to a 1-1 draw at home by 10-man Derby County – despite Scott Malone striking against his old club at The Den.
Malone’s leveller quickly cancelled out Festy Ebosele’s first senior goal for the rock-bottom Rams, which briefly threatened to end their six-game winless run.
The visitors had other chances to do so in a game that livened up after a slow start, but they were happy to come away from South London with a point, following Nathan Byrne’s red card.
