QPR failed to keep their winning run going but remain unbeaten after a 0-0 draw with Preston North End at Deepdale.
The Hoops started brightly and should’ve taken the lead when Charlie Austin neatly flicked the ball through to Lydon Dykes, whose effort was saved by Preston keeper Daniel Iversen.
Dykes then had another opportunity to break the deadlock after Geoff Cameron’s long ball, but the forward’s attempted chip rolled wide of the goal.
At the other end, Anthony Gordon came closest for PNE when his header narrowly went over the bar on the stroke of half-time.
QPR could have opened the scoring just after the restart, when the ball fell to Austin at the back post but he was only able to slice his effort wide of the goal.
The result leaves QPR 13th in the table nine points away from the top six but unbeaten in their last five.
