Brentford dominated with five second-half goals to grab an incredible 7-2 win over Wycombe Wanderers at the Brentford Community Stadium.
The Bees found an early goal on nine minutes through Ethan Pinnock, the defender connecting well with a Mathias Jensen corner to open the scoring.
However, Wycombe responded with an incredible solo goal from Uche Ikpeazu just five minutes later, beating three Brentford players before curling a delightful effort into the far corner.
The two sides then exchanged late first-half goals as Tarique Fosu turned in Ivan Toney’s saved volley on 41 minutes and Admiral Muskwe headed home from close range on 43 minutes to bring an eventful half of football to a close.
Tariqe Fosu re-established Brentford’s advantage six minutes after the interval with an arrowed finish to make it 3-2 before Ivan Toney dispatched a clinical penalty five minutes later to further strengthen Brentford’s lead.
But the scoring wasn’t finished there with the Bees closing the game out in style with a lovely goal from Sergi Canos, a second from Toney, and a seventh from Josh Dasilva.
