Brentford were knocked out of the FA Cup by Leicester City at the Fourth Round stage for the second successive season, losing 3-1 at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Second-half goals from Cengiz Under, Youri Tielemans and James Maddison saw the Foxes come from behind after Mads Bech Sorensen’s early goal.
Fulham are also out of the competition, losing 3-0 to Burnley at Craven Cottage
Jay Rodriguez struck twice for the visitors and turned provider for the third to set-up Kevin Long for a tap in and secure Burnley’s place in the next round.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are through to the next round after beating a stubborn Luton Town 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Tammy Abraham netted twice in seven first-half minutes before Jordan Clark profited from a Kepa Arrizabalaga error to claw one back for the Championship side.
But Abraham completed his treble late on while Timo Werner missed a late penalty in a frustrating end to his afternoon.
In Saturday’s action, Millwall fell to a disappointing 3-0 defeat at home to fellow Championship side Bristol City.
Famara Diedhiou won and converted a penalty in the first half, and Nahki Wells and Antoine Semenyo added efforts after the break.
There was also defeat for holders Arsenal as Gabriel Magalhaes’ own goal condemned them to a 1-0 defeat at Southampton.
What proved the decisive moment came in the 24th minute when Gabriel deflected a cross-cum-shot from Kyle Walker-Peters past Bernd Leno and into the Gunners’ net – the first goal Mikel Arteta’s side have conceded in six games in all competitions.
There was better news for West Ham United though who set up a trip to either Manchester United or Liverpool as they won 4-0 at home against League One Doncaster.
Pablo Fornals provided the opener early on, Andriy Yarmolenko doubled the advantage just after the half-hour mark, Andy Butler scored an own goal in the 54th minute and substitute Oladapo Afolayan then netted on his Hammers debut.
