Millwall’s return to action following a two week lay-off due to coronavirus ended in misery with a 2-1 defeat at home to Coventry City.
The Lions fell behind when Jake Cooper turned into his own net after 20 minutes and Gustavo Hamer added Coventry’s second six minutes later.
Jed Wallace pulled one back from the penalty spot after 74 minutes but it was not enough for Millwall, who had Murray Wallace sent off late on as their winless home run extended to eight games.
In League One, AFC Wimbledon fell to a similar 2-1 defeat at home to table-toppers Lincoln City as the Dons continue to experience their own battle against coronavirus.
Several Dons players are believed to have tested positive in advance of the clash at Plough Lane with the club’s formal application for a postponement rejected by the EFL.
Defender Tayo Edun put the Imps in front following a corner on eight minutes before Wimbledon were leve on 31 minutes through an Ollie Palmer header.
And just when it looked as if the game was going to finish all square, Lincoln’s Tom Hopper drilled the ball home with seven minutes left to snatch the win.

And Hull made sure of victory when midfielder Greg Docherty knocked home a rebound after the ball had come back off the post.
And in League Two, Leyton Orient made it two home wins and clean sheets in a week with a 1-0 victory over Salford City.
Danny Johnson’s 17th goal of the season was the difference – beating goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky with a left-footed shot from 18 yards in the 31st minute.
