Brentford came from behind to move into the Championship automatic promotion places with an entertaining 2-1 win over AFC Bournemouth.

Dominic Solanke gave the Cherries the lead mid-way through the first-half when he flicked Lloyd Kelly’s low driven cross into the roof of the net.

But the Bees hit back before the break as Henrik Dalsgaard rose highest at the near post to power home an unstoppable header from Mathias Jensen’s corner.

And they grabbed a winner 11 minutes from time when substitute Tariqe Fosu headed home Bryan Mbeumo’s teasing cross at the far post.

Meanwhile, QPR held top-of-the-table Norwich City to a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road in Tuesday night’s action.

The dominant Canaries looked as though they had won it when Teemu Pukki scored from the spot with 15 minutes remaining.

However, Bright Osayi-Samuel equalised with a penalty of his own nine minutes later to claim a valuable and unexpected point for the Hoops.

And in League Two, Leyton Orient returned to winning ways following three successive defeats with a 2-0 win over Southend United at Brisbane Road.

Jobi McAnuff and Conor Wilkinson struck after the break to break through a stubborn Southend defence to move the O’s one point away from the Play-Off places.
