Millwall drew 1-1 with Barnsley at The Den without Gary Rowett in the dugout after the Lions boss tested positive for coronavirus days earlier.
Both goals came at the end of what had previously been an awful first half, with a stunning volley from Barnsley captain Alex Mowatt being quickly cancelled out by Jake Cooper’s header.
There was also a draw for QPR with the Hoops playing out a dour 0-0 draw with Birmingham City at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
A stalemate was perhaps no surprise given the two teams have the same number of wins and points as well as the same goal difference.
Elsewhere, Brentford fell to a 3-2 defeat away to in-form Stoke City with the hosts racing into a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Steven Fletcher and James McClean put the Potters ahead before Tyrese Campbell added a third on the hour mark.
Marcus Forss netted twice in the final 20 minutes to set up a nervy finale but it was ultimately to no avail.
In League One, Charlton Athletic made it three wins in a row with a routine 2-0 triumph at Northampton Town.
Substitute Darren Pratley broke the deadlock shortly after half-time before Jack Sowerby’s own goal confirmed the Addicks’ win.
Meanwhile, AFC Wimbledon claimed an admirable 1-1 draw against Burton Albion in a rain-soaked affair at the Pirelli Stadium.
Both goals came within a minute of each other, with half-time substitute Ryan Longman breaking the deadlock for the Dons with a driving run and composed finish from a tight angle after 65 minutes.

Burton striker Kane Hemmings then scored moments later, calmly guiding Colin Daniel’s cross home via the inside of a post.
And in League Two, Leyton Orient beat Stevenage 2-0 after second-half strikes from Jordan Maguire-Drew and Conor Wilkinson.
Danny Johnson’s smart cutback on the left flank was tucked away by substitute Maguire-Drew against the run of play before Jobi McAnuff cut the ball across the box for Wilkinson to place home in the far corner.
