Millwall progressed to the Fourth Round of the FA Cup for a fourth consecutive season with a 3-0 win over League Two side Newport County.
Matt Smith opened the scoring inside the first ten minutes as Newport failed to clear a Connor Mahoney corner, with the target man finishing well past former Lions stopper Tom King.
The visitors rallied and could have been level early in the second-half had Millwall goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski not made a superb save to deny Jamille Matt.
But it was Millwall who doubled their advantage and effectively ended the contest – Jason McCarthy’s ball into the box seeing Jon Dadi Bodvarsson fouled, with Mahoney converting the resulting penalty.
And Tom Bradshaw rounded off a professional Lions performance and safe passage to the next round by lobbing King late on following McCarthy’s cross.
