Millwall’s unbeaten home run under new boss Gary Rowett continued with an enthralling 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.
The Lions dominated the first-half and should have been further ahead than just Shaun Williams’ header from a 15th minute Jed Wallace corner.
Forest came out firing after the interval and soon had an equaliser through former Lions striker Lewis Grabban after Joe Worrall’s header back across goal.
However, Millwall rallied and could have had a penalty when Sammy Ameobi appeared to foul Tom Bradshaw in the box while Jake Cooper saw Ameobi clear his header off the line.
And their failure to take their chances appeared to cost the Lions as Grabban netted his second goal of the game in the 88th minute.
But when Nottingham Forest stopper Brice Samba failed to hold Shaun Williams’ long range effort in stoppage time, Aiden O’Brien tapped home to ensure the two sides shared the points.
