QPR fell to their 11th home league defeat of the season with a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest at Loftus Road.

In a first-half of few chances, Hoops keeper Joe Lumley tipped Karim Ansarifard’s effort onto the bar while Costel Pantilimon saved Ebere Eze’s long-range attempt at the other end.

Ansarifard then opened the scoring for the visitors 10 minutes into the second half, applying the finish to a lovely move involving Joe Lolley, Matty Cash and Joao Carvalho.

After the goal Pantilimon twice denied Tomer Hemed, keeping out a low shot and a far-post header while Massimo Luongo’s long-range shot also flashed narrowly wide.

And Pantilimon was on hand to deny QPR again late on – saving a Nahki Wells penalty in the 87th minute after Jack Robinson was adjudged to have handled Josh Scowen’s corner.
