Two Harry Wilson stoppage time goals saw QPR lose 2-0 against high-flying Derby County at Pride Park.

In an open exchange, the Rams went close within four minutes as Martyn Waghorn’s effort from a Wilson free-kick was well parried by Hoops stopper Joe Lumley.

The second-period saw another Wilson free-kick saved by Lumley with QPR looking to catch Derby on the break as Tomer Hemed failed to find the net after good work from Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Mason Mount’s effort was then pushed against the post by Lumley while at the other end Matt Smith and Nahki Wells both had chances to break the deadlock late on.

However it was the Rams who stole the points deep into injury time – Wilson converting a penalty in the fourth minute of added time after Jayden Bogle went over Luke Freeman’s outstretched leg.

And as QPR pressed for an equaliser, they were caught on the break for Wilson to double the advantage and make sure of the points.
