Millwall could only manage a 1-1 draw against 10-man Brentford in their Good Friday encounter at The Den.

The Lions opened the scoring in the 15th minute when Shane Ferguson’s corner was stabbed towards Lee Gregory who fired past Bees stopper Luke Daniels.

However Brentford’s response was swift – Josh Dasilva rocketing home his first senior goal five minutes later.

But with parity restored the visitors found themselves down to ten-men in the 35th minute when Henrik Dalsgaard was sent-off for bringing down Ben Thompson as he raced towards goal.

Millwall failed to take advantage though – Jed Wallace and Shane Ferguson coming closest for the Lions while Brentford had opportunities themselves through Sergi Canos, Chiedozie Ogbene and Neal Maupay.

It meant a frustrating draw for both sides with Millwall still very much looking over their shoulders as they battle to stay in the Championship.
