Charlton Athletic lost ground in the League One promotion race with a goalless draw away to Bristol Rovers.
In blustery conditions, Addicks keeper Dillon Phillips produced a spectacular save to deny Jonson Clarke-Harris’ 37th minute free-kick.
At the other end, Rovers’ Jack Bonham thwarted Igor Vetokele’s 43rd minute drive before Josh Cullen’s effort was ruled out for offside on the stroke of half-time.
The second-period continued to be an even affair amidst terrible weather conditions with Rovers’ Alex Jakubiak going closest with an effort that was also ruled out for offside.
And with the game dwindling towards stalemate, Tom Lockyer then produced an excellent block to prevent Lyle Taylor getting on the end of a late cross.
The result leaves Charlton still comfortably fifth in the table but crucially now eight points from second-placed Barnsley with just eight games to go.
