A Semi Ajayi brace saw QPR crash to a frustrating 2-1 Loftus Road defeat against Championship strugglers Rotherham United.
The Hoops had the better of the first-half chances with Tomer Hemed twice coming closest to opening the scoring.
However the game sparked into life as Ajayi rifled home in the 71st minute after pouncing on a loose ball.
QPR equalised 14 minutes later when Jake Bidwell and Pawel Wszolek combined well for Bright Osayi-Samuel to slot home from close range.
That goal appeared to have rescued a point for the Hoops until Ajayi’s header in the fifth minute of injury time gave the Millers their first league away win of the campaign.
Steve McClaren’s side have now lost nine of their past 11 league games, winning just once in the league since Boxing Day and now sit just seven points above the drop zone.
