Charlton Athletic played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with fellow League One Play-Off challengers Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The Addicks, with boss Lee Bowyer starting a three-match touchline ban for his sending-off at AFC Wimbledon, started brightly as Lyle Taylor and Krystian Bielik went close in the opening exchanges.
Doncaster then had Paul Downing’s header cleared off the line by Chris Solly while at the other end Taylor’s effort hit the bar and Joe Aribo was denied twice in quick succession.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 72nd minute when Doncaster’s John Marquis headed into his own net from a corner before Mallik Wilks equalised four minutes later.
Addicks keeper Dillon Phillips then denied Marquis and Aaron Lewis before Rovers thought they had snatched victory deep in stoppage time only to see Marquis’ goal disallowed for offside.
