Millwall failed to capitalise on their FA Cup exploits with a poor goalless draw against Rotherham United at the Den.
After the high of beating Premier League outfit Everton last weekend, the Lions failed to break down a stubborn Millers defence.
Their best efforts came at the beginning and end of the game – Ben Marshall’s 25-yard effort hitting the crossbar after just 90 seconds and Lee Gregory missing from six yards out at the death.
At the other end, Rotherham’s Michael Smith was denied twice – first Millwall keeper Jordan Archer saving well when clear on goal and then Marshall clearing off the line.
The result means Millwall drop to 20th in the table, five points above the relegation zone, while Rotherham are 21st, just a point above the bottom three.
