QPR take on third placed Sheffield United on Saturday in what looks like their toughest match since their last league defeat away to Leeds United.

The R’s will be hoping to extend their six-match unbeaten run, the most recent of which an inspiring FA Cup victory over the aforementioned Leeds last weekend.

Confidence is currently running high with the results of late and QPR boss Steve McClaren was full of praise for his young guns after Sunday’s 2-1 win.

The manager was particularly impressed with 20-year-old striker Aramide Oteh, flashing a smile as he praised the youngster for the ‘balls’ he showed to step-up and fire Rangers ahead in that encounter.

Ebere Eze is another who has continued to catch the eye ever since his introduction into the starting line-up and the Greenwich-born starlet has recently been linked with a move to Crystal Palace this month.

Rangers will do everything possible to prevent Eze from leaving the club, especially with the current transfer embargo and overall McClaren is working wonders to strike a perfect balance of natural talent, experience and in-form youngsters in his first-team squad.

However they face a Sheffield United that will be out to prove their worth after a shock 1-0 defeat to National League Barnet last weekend.

The Blades will be looking to put things right against the in-form Hoops and it will likely be a tight affair at Bramall Lane where home advantage could just be the difference…

Prediction: 2-1 Sheffield United
